Greetings, Vaniacs!  It's taken a little longer than we'd like to clear things up after the recent hacking incident but this is your official confirmation from me, the Keeper, that the Itch.io page is free from evildoers.  We have a failsafe in place for future incidents and all things considered I'm happy with our response to the situation this time around; a big thanks to our Discord community members for keeping each other informed and relaying my communications after I was kicked from the server during the attack, especially Jade and Canorous.  The Discord itself is back under our control completely and I will be restoring links in earlier posts once again.

In the meantime Robin has been working away still - no surprises there! - and hopefully we'll have some new tidbits to show you in the near future.  Remember to subscribe to his personal YouTube account for development livestreams.  Devlogs might be a little slow for the foreseeable future as I’m currently on holiday in beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand for a couple of months, but I’m incapable of keeping away completely so you’ll see me around.

Thanks again for your patience and understanding, both for our experience and that of many other game devs who have been similarly affected.  Remember to double-check your password security and set up failsafes; these schemes get more and more sophisticated every time.  We’re hoping this year will be an exciting one for Van-14’s development and that we can bring you a lot of fun with it!  That’s our main goal, in the end.
