Hello friends!  While Lorekeeper Cim and Keeper Erika (that’s me!) have been busy with some other real-life stuff, World’s Best Coffee Guy Robin has been working away on art assets.  Those of you who have found our newly-hatched YouTube channel may have already seen this:

Aside from the little tidbit of lore hinted at here, check out that new and improved parallax background!

Here’s a still focused on the weird symbol Van has found.  What does it mean (wrong answers only)??

The starting point has also had a revamp:

Unsettling!  Why are there eggs?!  Is someone making a gigantic omelette?  Or maybe it’s a reference to that well-known saying: “You can’t develop a cool indie game without breaking a few eggs.”  Either way, better hope that whatever came out of them is friendly…

Finally, weather effects!  (Mind the drop, too.)  Some rain for ambiance.  There seems to be a lot of it, so hopefully this place has a good drainage.  Maybe we’ll find out next time.
